- Young Irelands Gaelic Football Club 40th Anniversary Reunion Dinner

To celebrate the Clubs 40 years of Gaelic Football in NSW, we are having a Gala Night in Penrith Gaels Club on Saturday 16th May, 2009.

We would love to have as many former players and supporters to join in our celebrations.

The Club was formed in 1969 winning a string of league and championship trophies and also promoting our native game at all levels. Please be aware the Young Irelands were the first GAA Club in the world to wear a sponsors name on its jersey, being Mike Hughes Financial Brokers, who have supported the Club for the past 20 years.

The Committee of Young Irelands encourage all supporters of the great game to come along and enjoy the craic.

Tickets are $125 per person. This includes dinner, drinks and entertainment.( Book early to ensure your seat)

- Club Website gets a New Facelift for the 40th Anniversary Celebrations.

To celebrate Young Irelands 40th year of continuous participation in the New South Wales Gaelic Football competition it was decided to give the club website a bit of a facelift.

We hope that you find the new layout and format as helpful and informative as its old incarnations. There have been a number of new additions to the site including a forum which can be accessed by clicking on the link at the top of the page.

The site was designed by ex clubman Richie Coss and his company www.professionalidentity.co.uk the updating and running of it will be done by everyone in the club who is computer literate.

If there are any issues with the site or its content email Richie at richi.coss@gmail.com.
